Serving Fourteen of SoundCream is High Church and Queer AF. I have several fresh new IDs to share, starting with a hot rework of, “Don’t Stop the Music,” from Jerome Robins and rising global superstar Karsten Sollors, released with Stashed on August 23. You’re also going to love, “Body Bumpin,” from UK babe, King James Lee, with Leyla Diamondi, released August 2 with Glasgow Underground. One of my favorites in this mix was introduced to me on a lovely cabin weekend with the boys outside Atlanta, and that is the Detroit-based, dad-daughter duo known as Floorplan and their June release of, “The Plan,” featuring Earthtone on their fourth studio album, “The Master’s Plan,” from Classic Music Company.

The penultimate track was originally a Peter Rauhofer classic, but a lightbulb went off before I recorded, reminding me of a grouping of tracks that I was holding for this fall from one of the hottest up-and-coming queer artists. Recognized as one of eight emerging artists you need to hear in 2024 by DJ Mag, Michael Cignarale is turning fierce tracks for his own label, Medusa Records, including, “Dance Like Me,” which I know will turn you out the way it does me.
