SoundCream Remixed is my new project for Fall 2023. The original SoundCream releases in 21/22 were my first dive into mix sets when I first started DJing. As we all returned to the dancefloor, I was working on myself through the music as well as determining the path of my sound and what moved me. Sets were built around a formula of a previous version of myself that no longer aligns with my personal vision for nightlife. I’ve now made most of those set links private. If there are any for which you had a personal affinity, feel free to send me a message and I will happily share it with you.

With these remixes, I am hand-picking my favorite tracks and harmonically mixing them into something new that still reflects the best of what SoundCream was originally. To keep it fresh, I will be featuring a new release from an artist I admire that helps shape the message and selections of each set. For the first remix, I have selected, “Connected,” from the EP released this month by Juliet Mendoza, which you can get on Bandcamp now. Juliet was the guest headliner for IndepenDance 2023 in Fire Island Pines, produced by Free Radical Design Group and UltraMaroon. My interview with her was one of my favorites I have been able to do. When I asked for a few words about the new track, she had this to say:
